I've ordered 4 boxes of Prvi Partizan Match 168 grain HPBT .308 ammunition from aimsurplus.com. It shipped yesterday, so I anticipate receiving it in the next few days. At $10.95 per box of 20 rounds, it seems no more expensive, and possibly less expensive, than handloading, so I thought it worth a try. I will be shooting it primarily out of a Remington 700 VSF, but I may give some to my son to try in his Savage 10-FP HS Precision.

My concerns, in addition to general accuracy, are things like do they use a clean burning powder or is there lots of fouling, are there concerns with corrosion, are they consistent from round to round. Stuff like that.

Does anybody else out there have any experience with this particular ammunition (or ammunition in other configurations/calibers by this same manufacturer), and if so, what kind of results did you get, and were you satisfied with the quality of the product at that price point?

I've shot Privi and it's not bad ammo. Had both the .223 & .308. No FTF, FTE issues.

I have shot priv

I have shot priv in both my 7.5 swiss and my 6.5x55 swede. It is a decent round. I would not put it in the same class as Lapua or a Hornady, but good all around ammo for the price. The fouling that I notice is average. Let me know if it shoots good in you .308. I may buy some for mine (if the price is right)

I have used the .223 75gr HPBT in 600 yard match and could tell a significant difference between the Prvi and the Hornady. The Hornady was much better. That said, I will continue using the Prvi becasue of the price and the guys shooting .308 usually kick my butt anyhow.

I was shooting it out of my M1A and getting 2" groups @ 200 yards. my regular ammo Winchester 147 grain Q3030 gets 1" groups and my hunting ammo Federal Vital Shok 150 & 165 grain also gets 1" or better groups.

I would consider it good training/plinking ammo.
