I try to mention his name alot around my co-workers, and how i feel about his views on politics.

I am going to mention him to my parents when i call them tonite.

I made a substantial donation after the first debate and have since taken to wearing a Ron Paul 2008 button every day to work and when out and about. I carry Ron Paul flyers with me to hand out, and have a couple of bumper stickers that I'll be putting on my vehicles as soon as I have a chance to wash them first.

I've already won over several voters to Ron Paul, one of whom has since equalled my level of advocacy for the campaign. I'm under no illusions concerning the difficulty the campaign faces, but I'm excited by Paul's growing awareness and support in the public.

Ron Paul for President 2008!

I'm wearing my Ron Paul button pretty much all the time. Offering free stickers to people that will use them.

I have to admit, it is sometimes frustrating because a lot of people I know who support Ron Paul are afraid to advertise that fact. They see the media blast him and call him a wacko, and even though they feel the media is wrong, they don't want to get 'labeled' somehow by supporting him. How do you get these people to help and stand up for what they believe in?

Here is a tidbit for the Ron Paul supporters. Didn't think it was worth a new thread.

Republican Leaders Attempt to Ban Ron Paul from Future Debates
Saul Anuzis, chairman of the Michigan Republican Party, will circulate a petition among fellow Republican leaders to attempt to ban Ron Paul from participating in future Republican Party Debates

Anuzis is incised at a comment Paul made during a debate insinuating that US foreign policy was at least partially responsible for the Sept 11 attack on the WTC. The other candidates lashed out at Paul for his views.

"Have you ever read about the reasons they attacked us? …We've been bombing Iraq for 10 years," Paul said. Paul’s campaign spokesman thinks it is a shame that the party no longer supports traditional Republican foreign policy.

Correction

Ron Paul's supporters have asked me to make a "correction". I replayed the tape and what he actually said versus what many (including myself) perceived he said is different. Here is an excerpt from their letter:

Open Letter to Mr. Saul Anuzis
Posted by Daniel McAdams at May 18, 2007 09:19 PM

Mr. Anuzis:

You wrote on the blog of the Michigan Republican Party today as your explanation for giving up your campaign to have Dr. Ron Paul silenced from future Republican debates:

"... my initial response and what prompted me to action were the Congressman’s comments blaming America for 9-11..."

...I would advise you to edit your above statement on the Michigan Republican Party website to remove the slanderous suggestion that Ron Paul blames America for 9/11.

OK...correction:

On the post election session with Sean Hannity Ron Paul expanded on his position and said "America didn't do anything but policies over many years...".

I and many others "perceived" his statement during the debate to be blaming "America"...what he was saying is American "policies" over the years created and/or contributed to this situation.

I will make a correction on my orginal blog as well.

I stand corrected.
Thank you for your support.

No I will not support any Republicans even if they are republican in name only
This sort of obstinance scares me. Do your homework, check out candidates and look at the issues. This could very well be our last chance to save this country.

Our country needs some re-vamping to say the least. I think the Fair Tax may be a good start. Glad to hear that my post was the first anyone heard of this. I think Dr. Ron Paul needs to participate as much as possible in the election process.

We put this one up at the corner of two of the busiest highways near our town. One of my friends decided it would be best to put it up at night since it was his father's land and it's easier to ask forgiveness than permission. LOL

So there we were at 11:30 PM putting the sign in the ground, and before we even finished a truck drove by and started honking at us once his lights hit the sign! There are more and more Ron Paul supporters coming out of the woodwork - we just need to get his name out there.

This was taken Monday evening when we decided to move it out of the highway's right-of-way. :D
