I recently acquired a BP gun from my mother's estate. It is an EIG Navy--which is a replica of the 1851 Colt Navy revolver. It's a .36 caliber and in v. good condition. It has a brass frame and has been shot rarely and cleaned up properly in the past. I'm wondering if an after market conversion cylinder is available in .38 Colt or .38 Spl. for this gun?? I have aquaintances who shoot cowboy loads but not BP. Just wondering what is possible---getting all the BP supplies and getting up to snuff on BP may take awhile and I want to shoot now.
