conversion cylinder help?

Hello, I'm new here and I'm going to buy a new army but don't know which one to buy, I plan to buy a conversion cylinder for it aswell from kirst. Does anyone know if theirs a difference between the pietta new army with the 5 inch barrel and the full length barrel? except for the obvious size of the barrel. I just want to make sure the kirst converter will fit in the one with the 5 inch barrel, thanks.

As long as they're both Piettas, you should be good to go...there's always going to be a little variation on the Italian replicas as there is a small amount of hand fitting done on them at the factory, but Pietta is pretty good about parts swap-ability.
