Converting .223 AKs to use AR-15 magazines w/ Galil adaptor

I've seen magazine adapters for the Galil rifle that allow it to take AR-15 magazines. I was wondering if you could use the same adapter in a .223 AK so that it can take AR-15 magazines as well. Has anyone tried this?

i'm sure with a little WECSOGing and tinkering, you might be able to make one fit.

Why would you want to modify the AK which is perfect in all ways to use greatly inferior american magazines?

just kidding.


An ak with a decent thumb safety, aperature sights and one of these mag adaptors would be the heat.
