hey everyone... as an engineer, i like to do a lot of design in 3D.. and lately ive been working on 3D representation of blueprints of firearms so people can reference parts they may need should one break, make a part themself, or just study the function of different designs in 3D... and i was looking for project ideas...

seems most the common ones are already done an available.. 1911, luger, 92fs, m16, ak, and so fourth.. also found the 1928a thompson already completed, the sten...

well im looking to convert a design to 3D that isnt on this list.. blueprints have to be available, and im looking for suggestions as to what you guys would like to see converted into the 3D world?

obviously, super-new firearms will not only be highly guarded, but still under patent laws.. so anything from the 19th century, WWII, and around those eras would be fine... i have yet to see any shotguns modeled, nor have i found any lever actions as of yet...

so... id like to maybe model an old lever action, revolver, shotgun, or any military rifle up to the vietnam era if anyone knows a source to get started
