Saw one for sale today at Gander Mountain for $229. If I hadn't been broke buying Christmas gifts, I'd have put it on lay-away...
Mossberg 50113 .410 bore BANTAMâ„¢ STOCK SLUGSTER, Blued finish, black Bantam-length synthetic stock, 24" Cylinder Bore barrel with adjustable Fiber Optic rifle-style sights
I know all the reasons not to own a .410...
But I have a few reason that get me interested, too...
OK, guys. I need help. Convince me to walk away...
(why do I feel like I'm asking a group of sharks to help me go vegetarian?...)

I know all the reasons not to own a .410...
- long, narrow shot strings...
- slug loads no more effective than .38SPL +P's...
- more expensive ammo w/ limited choices...
- "real men" shoot 12 Gauge 3.5" Super Magnums and LIKE IT!!!
But I have a few reason that get me interested, too...
- lighter ammo = more in your pocket & ammo pouch...
- .410 shotguns weigh a lot less than 12ga's...
- less recoil = more shooting fun...
- iwannacoolnewgun virus is hard to fight during the holiday season...
