I got a video I saw from a good famous movie with a memorable and cool gun buy scene
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NWYxEGs9y5Q
$350 for a S&W 29 in 44 magnum
$40 for a nice leather holster
$250 for a S&W 36 snubnose in 38 special
$100 for colt .25
$150 for PPK in .380
What do you think about that?

The PPK looks like an Astra Constable. I love that movie. The Colt I think is a S&W mod 61 in .22lr.

Remember to double or triple these prices for the time frame. I want to buy a Caddy and some mescaline from that guy as well:)

Moonclip

You're right about the Constable and the Escort; I also love all the interesting little facts that the "salesman" has about the guns.

I own or have owned all the guns featured except for the escort. I sold that in Harlem:)

Is this the scene with "Easy Andy" from Taxi Driver?

That movie, of course, is fantastic. One must admit that DeNiro looks a tad skinny to be a Marine vet, but I'm willing to ignore that in the face of the Bernard Herrmann score (his last!), Michael Chapman's dreamlike cinematography, Paul Schrader's feverish screenplay, and DeNiro's awe-inspiring acting. (Some have speculated that Bickle's vet-status was a persona he'd assumed, and while I don't really buy that, it suits his psyche like a glove.)

Don't forget he was an insomniac who ate little. Hard to bulk up with that lifestyle.

He was lean and 'cut' like Bruce Lee, not overly bulky.

As for the guns, and their prices - damn. Just damn. I wish I had a time machine. :D

Theres nothing in the world like the feeling of buying guns out of a suitcase, especially in a parking lot:)

Did it one time but legally, even got to keep the briefcase! Another time it didn't feel right and the seller gave me bad vibes as a LE sting at a gunshow so I didn't as the woman selling suggested we do something illegal.
