http://www.youtube.com/user/japanDriftHeaven has a lot of cool gun videos. He's Japanese, and in Japan, guns are more an academic thing since they cant own them. So he's uploaded a bunch of stuff off the gun DVDs there. Lots of really neat stuff, very good quality and professional videos. They're not like other youtube gun videos at all. Here's a few I thought were interesting, he also has a Nambu vs 1911 test on the front page, and that's the only video I ever saw before that.

Definitely check his videos out...

ok...someone find me a street sweeper...:D

These videos are killer. i really like how they show him firing them in slow mo. thats one of the coolest things i've ever seen.

It's either DD or AOW. ATF doesnt like the hicap mags on them. As far as not speaking Japanese, it doesnt really matter much. I know a little little little bit of Japanese from like anime and stuff, and that helps.

Yeah, it's NFA, regardless of barrel length. Cobray does sell parts kits and drums and I think 80% recievers for them, though.

I'm pretty sure it's due to the magazine, and it not being sporting enough. Saiga is sporting, it's marketted for sporting, so even with a 10 round mag it's OK, but this, is not very sporting due to not looking sporting and not being marketted as such. Probably has to do with certain features, like the pistol grip, and the forward grip, I think equivilent to 922r type stuff.

I never knew it worked like that, it's basically open bolt, pretty neat...

Does anyone else find it odd that they spend as much loving attention on the Maverick as the SPAS? It's kind of odd seeing what I've always thought of as an inexpensive beater gun up there literally on a pedestal.

i dont speak japanese.

They're speaking our language. No translation required. "AARO TEN"

Shoot properly, not from the hip!

Moving on, is the Streetsweeper ejecting the spent shells through just recoil and inertia?

Did you guys notice how much waggle the compensator design set up on the Spaas? Holy S*&^T! No wonder those things have a terrible reputation.....

Army buddy had a street sweeper when the "ban" went into effect. We didn't know and brought it to the post range . Should have seen the faces when we started lighting that thing off . Needless to say , he ended up selling it pronto . Had I known then what I know now , I would have bought it from him . All legally of course :D

Japan apparently practices a hell of a lot of hand to hand combat. Wow..

- that video looks like a fake shot with airsoft guns. they are doing some seriously weird #%* in that one. like hopping out of trees, a LOT of posing (no actual gun firing), and a lot of spear throwing / machete chopping.

note also the crossbows.

I think it's counter-guerilla warfare practice, so Japan could put down like an uprising. I think the reason they got all the crossbows and stuff is because in Japan, that's what they'd face since they dont got a whole lot of guns there.

I dont think those are airsoft, either, lot too noisy to be airsoft, and an airsoft Type 89 wasnt around until last year, when TM came out with their's.
