OK I think I've come across a thought or two, I want your opinion.
First of all the question of weather stainless steel barrels or more accurate than blued barrels has been beat to death in this forum. That is not what my intentions are.
Now as most of us know, a lot of precision type shooter use custom made rifles and barrels.
Most I've seen are not always but usually stainless steel barreled. To which makes us ask is the stainless barrel more acurate , some say yes some say no, the world may never know.
OK now to get to my point I have a ruger 77-22lr in stainless. It shoots the CCI at tactical bullets copper coated 1200 fps more precisionly than the CCI select ammo, same bullet style only not copper coated and still at 1200fps.
Which makes me wonder, hmmmm does the mixture of the copper on the bullet and stainless barrel make for a better combination in the dynamics Of bullet traveling thrue the barrel. Vs. Copper and crome molly, or other constructed barrels.
Food for thought , we almost need a lab and scientist for this one.
