I was working on some positional shooting today and at the end of the day decided to set down and shoot some dot drills as well as a 5 shot group. Rifle is a defiance 6mm creedmoor chambered by baldwin gunworks. Ammo is copper creek ammo loaded with 105 berger hybrids. This barrel has right around 2000rds down it and has never seen a cleaning rod.

Very fine! I like your way of thinking. I have not touched the bore of my .308 in over 1200 rounds, and it shoots very very good.

One cannot argue with that type of accuracy. It must have taken a lot of discipline and effort to learn to NOT clean a barrel.

I don't think I have that sort of discipline. Like John Candy would hear a Twinkie call his name, whenever I am trying to sleep, and an uncleaned rifle is in the safe, I can hear it... calling me... an eerie, chilling, mournful sound.... I try to ignore it, but I just toss and turn, until I finally rouse myself and go and clean it! LOL.

And then eat a Twinkie, and return to bed...;)

Doesnt take a whole lot of will power for me to to clean it, I just throw it back in the safe till next time. I did however after a PRS match in FL at K&M take a air compressor and blow the sand out of my chamber, barrel, and action.

Yes, that is an outstanding group. Nice shooting. You have a winning combo there.
