Copper fouling solvent

If you have a bad copper fouling problem,I'd just mix up an ammonia/water solution.
I've been there, before I finally fire lapped the bad barrel (tool marks in rifling). There are many chemical gun cleaners that you can buy, some work-some don't.
But for a little of nothing you can go to your local janitorial supply and get a gallon of industrial strength ammonia (the stuff you can get at Walmart/grocery store is too watered down).

Get some rubber stoppers from the hardware store that will fit (plug) the chamber end of the barrel.
Mix up 2 parts ammonia/1 part water, plug the barrel, fill barrel with the solution, let it set for 10-15 minutes.
Pour the solution out of the barrel, remove the plug, and then clean your barrel as usual.
You should get rid of all the copper fouling in a few minutes, without scrubbing the barrel.
