Correct Cleaning Rod For My K98?

I have a K98 1938 year,is a 10" or 12" rod "correct" for my rifle?I'm looking on Ebay and a repro is fine,just don't know the size I should get.I bought one of the battlefield pickups from Russia and typically it doesn't have the rod or hood.What is the screws I have seen mentioned that are normally taken off also?

Check with this company, I do not know about the screws but they can probably help with that too, let us know how they help out. I have not had a chance to do business with them yet.
