Correlation Between Velocity and Accuracy in 9mm

DF9D6EAD-ACBE-4DF1-A0B2-A450761256D5.jpeg As unlikely as I thought it was, it seems we have a winner, or a potential one at least. 3.4 grains of Titegroup and a 147 grain RMR HMW. The orange aiming dots match the size of my red dot sight at 25 yards. 3.4 grains is the highest I planned to test but isn’t the top of the load range.

Excellent. I can guarantee the velocity is probably somewhere between 965-980 as well.

Heavy bullets and TG are like PB&J :)

I was quite surprised. The lower charge groups weren’t terrible. They just weren’t that good. Then again it’s only three shots. The HS6 load held a slightly larger group for 8 shots. I’m out of Titegroup so it won’t matter unless I decide to get more. I have enough HS6 to finish the rest of the RMR bullets I have. I hear some people don’t like Titegroup but it seems fine for 9mm.

I loaded 2 lbs of tightgroup with 115 mw in the short time I loaded 9. 4.0 grains was easy shooting and accurate.... 3.8 in a 38 is just as good. It's just another option that met a need. Do others work, absolutely. If your a fast shooter or try and load top end it's probably not you gig... great plinking powder.

I run 4gr TG with 124’s. I usually finish my day by shooting the last mag at 100 yards. I’m about 50/50 on that with my G43.

close enough to scare ya!

With a G43 from 100 yards, I think I’d hit the target faster if I just got a hammer and some running shoes.
