I have about 50 of these gas checked cast 275 gr semi wadcutters.
They have a diameter measuring over the lube grooves of .4335
I wonder if I could use these in 44 mag or what can they be for?
My normal diameter bullets I load 44's used are .429 or .430 and max has been 240 gr.

LATE EDIT:
Nevermind .... :banghead: I just found a post I made about these in October. forgive me.

Load 1 or 2 and see if they will chamber in your gun.

If it will?
Choot'm.

If it won't?
Pull'm.

Over-size lead bullets will not drive up pressure.
They are going to slug up, or sized down to chamber throat / bore size before they get all the way out of the case anyway.

They look as if they are coated with something. No lube in the lube grooves. I guess I would run them through a size die and get em right. A little lube may not hurt. They look soft from the picture.

I think it's more of a powder coating than lube on them. They feel smooth and slippy. I am trying to find a load with Unique for these.
My educated guess would be start at 7.5 gr Unique with a honkin' big bullet like this in 44 mag.
