Could someone with a Ruger PC weigh their bolt for me?

Yep. It's why I jumped on the Ruger PCC. I've had no problems with mine. I've got close to 2500 rounds through it.

I have both a Ruger PCC as well as an AR-9 style pistol from PSA. Recoil is about the same for both of them. Even though I haven't confirmed it, I believe that PSA uses an AR10 spring and a heavy buffer.

My AR9 pistol is built on a complete PSA lower. Mine came with a heavy buffer but it had a standard carbine spring in it. Don’t know if they are all that way or not.

I’ve got a cheapo PSA 9 that brings me joy, and no grief. It has worked fine, since I broke it in and lubed it. Based on the struggles of my buddies that have wasted thousands of dollars trying to get a 9mm AR working I have come to two conclusions: (1) shorter barrels work better without lots of fiddling, ie 7 inches or less, & (2) buy a complete firearm. Unless you have a registered lower, it is not worth the time and money experimenting with tungsten buffers and plus springs. Otherwise just wait until PSA has a $500 sale on the one you want.
