Couple of knives

Just wanted to show off a couple of knives that I found the last two days. The Marbles came from a pawnshop, and the Western from a guy on MeWe near me.

I have a Kinfolk and an Edge that date to 50's.

Two great classic hunting knives. The Marbles reminds me of the one my Dad had for many years. His "go-to" knife for just about everything.

I have my grandfathers marbles ideal circa 1910 with bone handle and 7" blade.

I would like to see a picture of that!

It would have been nice to have a leather grip on the Marbles, but would probably have been more expensive. I don't know how old either of them are, it's very confusing trying to date them.

I think my dad got his Marbles some time in the late '40s-early '50s. Actually I like the wood handle on your Marbles; a nicely figured piece of wood. Typically you see them with the leather washer handles.

Just another "Nice Marbles" thanks for sharing. I think the wood dresses it up nicely and would be happy with either wood or leather.

Took me awhile and the pic of this over 100 year old Marble's is kinda sucky but here ya go...

Grandpa Luther had a habit of putting his name (and a few grinder marks) on everything he owned.
