Ok. I go to toy stores and see weapon toys.
I see the toy set labeled "Cowboys and Indians".
The rifles and revolver toys do nothing but make gun NOISES or fire snap caps. They have no projectile, and nothing can be ejected from the toy guns. They are simply for the cowboy. BUT.... the Indian bow and arrow set has arrows that could potentially fly and cause an eye injury or something else.
My point? Well... The bow and arrows is approved for 3 year olds. But the guns are approved for 8 or older.
In the instance of these toys the bow and arrow are much more dangerous, but are rated for a 3 year old?
