Crack in wood of lower handguard on new AK?

I noticed while cleaning my new Yugo Underfolder that there is a small (about 1/4) hairline crack in the lower handguard. It starts at the metal in front of the handguard and travels back along the grain of the wood about 1/4 inch. At first I thought it was just a dark line of grain in the wood. It seems insignificant, but I would appreciate your feedback on this. Will it likely worsen as I shoot the rifle? Can I find replacement wood if it does worsen, without having to purchase a whole Yugo kit? Has anyone else noticed this on their Yugo Underfolders? I would appreciate your comments. Thanks, Doug

Yeah, when I get around to getting an AK, I'll get black carbon-fiber replacements.

No big deal, pull it off, hit it with gorilla glue..sand to fit your 100% golden.
