Creative solutions to die storage

I store my dies (at least for the last 40 years) loose in a pull-out drawer cabinet, clear plastic drawers and pastic frame, sold at Sears and lots of other stores for parts storage. The larger drawer size with 18 drawers should fit your need to hold your dies with LnL bushings. My Dillon conversions are stored in the Dillon boxes.

I have 5 cabinets similar to the Tennsco 7 drawer cabinet, 3 with 8 drawers that are wider, the height of the drawers are prefect for standing cases up like loaded 300 Win mag and 280 Remington, pistol 9mm stack three high, 357 Mag stack two high. dies stacked on tapered supports will allow dies to be stored 5 deep and four wide (or flat, two high, 4 deep and 4 wide).

I went to an estate sale with a friend, prolific shooter/reloader, the sale included 5 cabinets, I did not need the cabinets but for $20.00 each I thought seriously about purchasing them * ‘JIC”, I called another profile builder/shooter/reloader, he was not interested, I returned to the sale 3 days later to check if the cabinets were still available, no such luck, one day after the sale I received a phone call, the profile/builder/shooter/reloader decided he wanted the cabinets....too late.

*JIC-just in case.

Most of my dies are placed into their respective boxes, but my most frequently used ones are on the wall in some die holders that I made.

I used a piece of angle aluminum and some creative time on the drill press. Finish them with some hammer finish spray paint and decorative screws/washers and wa-lah! The posts on the sides hold a display case and the shellholder that matches the cartridge. I did have to drill out the flash hole to fit the post, but it's easy.

While they are mounted to the main peg board in that pic, I've since mounted them to another piece of pegboard with 1x2s framing the rear of the piece. That way I can easily take down the whole piece for moving purposes without disassembling the small stuff.

I don't remember the dimensions that I used, as it was about 5 years ago, but I'm sure you could drill larger holes for the bushings and space them out so that it looked nice.
Pic's dead. Would really like to see this.

I think this is a creative solution (might be slightly biased though), but doesn't really help the OP much:

I just found out last night that my Lee Pro 1000 turret heads fit PERFECTLY into the empty rolls of duct masking I use for work (I test the leakage of HVAC systems for a living and have to seal them with this stuff). If anyone wants some I've got TONS of empty rolls in my truck that usually get tossed once a month and can send them out.

Sorry guys, I had moved my photos around and all the links for my posts are broke. If you run across a post of mine that had pics (most do) and want to see them, PM me and I'll update the link. I'm most definitely not going through all 2,500 posts and updating them manually.

Here are the die holders.

I bought aluminum angle pieces at the local home improvement store and used a drill press to drill the holes. Some hammer finish spray paint and screws and fancy washers finished them off. I mounted them to a extra piece of peg board to so that way I could remove the entire panel rather than remount each individual die holder. I was military previously and moved around a lot so ease of installation was one of my requirements.

The small pegs on each side were drilled and than friction fit aluminum rod with the top radiused. One side holds the respective shell holder, the other holds a cartridge with the flash hole drilled out and enlarged to the diameter of the peg. Easy identification of which die set is for which cartridge.

Of course, I moved again recently (and I'm not shooting so much these days) so they're not set up properly, but you get the idea...
