Why would some 38 special have crimped primers. WCC headstamp.

I thought crimped primers was a semi/full auto thing?

One of them I pushed the bottom of the primer out leaving the hull of the primer in the pocket.

The seller gave me my money back.

Thank You

Crimped primers is a GI thing.

WWC GI .38 Spl is sometimes crimped, for whatever reason only known to them.

However, pushing the bottom out and leaving the sidewall in the pocket is more likely a defective brittle primer cup, or corrosion causing it then a crimp causing it.

Primers normally always come out in one piece, crimped or not.
