Criterion is a "spin off" of parent company Krieger Barrels. they make a very high quality product
I have a stainless steel 22" sporter contour Criterion barrel in .308 Win. on a Savage. Very accurate and stable with high quality fit and finish.

My criterion 20" stainless hbar is a sub moa barrel. If i had better magnification, i think i could get 1/2 moa. Edit: Fulton Armory carries them. FA is closed until Jan.

I replaced the barrel on a 03A3 with a Criterion barrel purchased from the CMP. The barrel indexed to the receiver with no problems and finish reamed to the correct headspace easily. The extractor groove was milled correctly and timed properly. The resulting chamber is of minimal dimensions and fired shells show no unusual expansions or bulges.

I have not yet had time to develop an accuracy load for the rifle. However, function firing the rifle with miscellaneous loads resulted in groupings around 1and ¼ inches. I am confident that when the barrel is broken in and with proper load development that the rifle will easily shoot less than one inch at 100 yards.

The bore and grooves seem to be exceptionally smooth. After shooting the barrel shows very little metal fouling and cleans up very easily. I would use a Criterion barrel again.
