The Crosman Model 357 FOUR
Made from 1983 to 1987
The gun is a single/double action .177 caliber CO2 revolver that is a replica of the Colt Python firearm. But breaks open like a Webly mark 4.The pistol has a 4″ barrel, a six-shot rotary clip, and it can hold one CO2 powerlet. They where made in three variants with 4" 6" or 8" barrel. The 8" the most difficult to obtain. The 6" being the easiest to find.

I had a 4" and loved it as a kid. My brother played football for the Dallas Cowboys and they would have training camp in Thousand Oaks, CA every summer. My parents would take me up there all the time, but there is only so much football a kid can watch. I would take my Crossman 357 up into the hills behind the camp and hunt. I got quite a few rabbits and tons of ground squirrels with that gun. When I went away to college, my mom threw it in the trash. I was so bummed! They were great guns for sure.

Thanks for posting!

I bought one some years ago. It's not the Python but a Smith & Wesson 4-inch barrel imitation. It was a decent practice gun for bullseye but after a few years one of the seals went bad on it. I tried to fix it myself but couldn't and ended up buying another more recent version of the same model. Just from looking at the package of the new one it was obvious that quality wasn't the same. The trigger on the newer one is terrible compared to the older model. I wish I could fix the old one but I think the cost would be equal or more compared to buying a new and maybe even better CO2 gun.
