Hunting a couple weeks ago, crossbow was loaded and sitting on the stand when I begin hearing cracking noises like a tree limb snapping. Few minutes later and the cracking is getting more frequent and louder. Look down and the limb is breaking apart. Remove the bolt out and begin to release the cocking mechanism tension. Didn't discharged, string pretty much ruined.
Haven't shot it more than 50-60 times since new. Decals on the limbs began coming off around 20-30 shots, Ravin sent new limbs claiming decals were put on by a special factory process. Dealer installed the new limbs and string, everything looked good and worked fine then this happens.
Most disappointing thing is the rut is going full blown and no crossbow. I know these things sometimes happen and are not indicative of a substandard product. Just hope they can get it repaired before the rut ends.
