Open Carry is awesome, and trouble free. Every state should have the right. I use retention holsters for open carry for safety sake. I frequently OC here in VA, without issue, in fact people don't seem to notice or care. I guess, if it's used and practiced people are comfortable with it, no issues.

I ended up buying a CW9 from Riverview. FYI...Cabellas had it for the same price believe it or not. When asked Riverview did not discount at all on the CW. I was told the price was the price. Which kind of bothered me considering how much I have spent in there shop this year. (I was hoping to get an extra mag thrown in) In the past they did great by me on my Glocks but not on the CW9 because it's entry level. I guess some you can discount and some you cant.
On this outing I bought the CW9, one extra 8 round mag, two Desanti OWB Holsters, one box of 124gr Speer Gold Dots and 200 round of practice ammo. This isn't meant to bash Riverview because Hoffman didn't have the CW and NGE's price was higher. Just sharing my experience!
