Group pics to come early next week! I have 70 rounds loaded up ready to find out which powder/bullet combo works best.

Going for possibly 1k yards Sunday I loaded up 220's for now. The chamber is super tight so I have to really watch my loads. It is cut to maximize shots with 3.45 OAL. Sent Manson a case to make a custom Reamer.

Loads to test all using 220gr Sierra Match King HPBT:

70.1 of IRM7828
72.1 of IRM7828
65 of RL22
62 of IRM4350
80 of Accurate 8700
75 of H1000
68.2 of H4831SC

I'll guess on the RL22 and Accurate 8700 to be the best. Leaning towards Accurate. Just a guess ?

As far as loads, I have had good luck with H4831SC and RL-22 (using anything from 190-240gr SMKs). Wouldn't hurt to grab a box of 208gr. A-Max as well.

:)

Well the 70.1 grains of IMR7828 wins out. Primers were showing slight heat in them. (just a note this gun has an EXTREMELY tight chamber compared to factory specs so take my loads being hot at this level as you may) I was shooting 3 shot groups all touching easily at 100. I shot it at 500 at a metal target and heard some dings. Ballistic chart to come hopefully this week and I will post some long range pics. Didn't have the chrono to make my chart Sunday and terrible wind so no pretty pictures yet.

180gn bullets pushed with 71gn of IMR4350 or RL-17 will do awesome things to elk. Last elk we took was at 1200yds with this recipe. 1 shot.
