custom from Randy Hengl/Territorial Gunsmiths

Hi,

I'm gearing up to have a custom rifle built. I've been thinking about H.S. Precision, as they are roughly in the price point I want to spend. I've also been aquainted with a local gunsmith, Randy Hengl, who makes rifles as well. He has a website here: http://gunsmith.net/details.shtml

His rifles are a little less than HSprecision rifles, and I've heard he does good work in general, but I haven't heard from anyone who owns one of these. Has anyone purchased a rifle from him, or know anyone who has? I'd be interested in feedback on them.

Having done photography and his web site, I got to handle many of his rifles. The fit and finish are superb and the stocks are "too pretty to use". Randy stands behind his work: the customer service is excellent. He restored a 1902 rifle for me and it looks better than the original.

Randy is a hunter and designs his products to the real-world uses.
