I've recently been given a Dakota Arms 76 action and a Lilja stainless varmint barrel, given to me by a friend who bought them as a project and decided to pursue another. I'd like to have this barrel threaded, chambered, and bedded by a professional gunsmith. This is a really nice action, and I'd like to make it into a rifle worthy of its price, possibly all out on this--good walnut stuck, maybe even some engraving. I'm considering .300 Winchester Magnum. Does anyone have any opinions on a good custom gunsmith I can send these to?
