I was wondering if anybody has custom front or rear sights for long range handgunning. If you do post a pic or give the name of the company or your name if you are the genius behind it. I would really like to see if ingenuity still exists. I will post pics of mine as soon as I can. I have a custom rear on one and a custom front on the other.

i just use regular sights, but then i don't do much shooting at longer ranges...usually only out to 50 yards, sometimes 100 if were shooting for beer money...i just raise the front sight in the rear notch

i remember when Mag-Na-Port used to put out a sight set for shooting at longer ranges. it had inlays set into the front blade that you could use to gauge your elevation

Well, the reason I ask is, I shoot long ranges anywhere from 300 to 600 and then some. So I wanted to see if anybody else does and what sights they use or if they are like some and can't seem to find sights for long ranges so they are subjected to the fun and meticulous task of building their own. The Elmer Keith sight was 3 gold bars, and there is mention of three leaf rear sights for revolvers that companies used to make oh so long ago. Whatever happened to being able to call a company talk to Jim, Doug, Frank or Bill and say I need a rear sight made for long range. If that kind of company exists please let me know otherwise.
