New to Forum, just getting into Black Powder shooting have a 44 cal pistol and just got a rifle but am having a hard time finding any info. on the barrel says:CONNECTICUT VALLEY ARMS, Inc. GANDER HAWKEN MADE IN SPAIN Black Powder Only Rifle .50 Cal. 895753. Any info would be great! haven't shot it yet it had a broken main spring that i just got a replacement and installed.

no brass all black, single trigger, no patch compartment on stock, rubber butt pad.

Perhaps, it was a model made for Gander Mountain to sell hence the "Gander" on the barrel.
