Yes I slugged the bore of my Pietta NMA & it was .4495 so when I did some reasearch I come up with .4510 as the best for me.
I changed from using a .454 ball to a .457 ball & the Lee .456 220gr. conical for the ROA to improve the fit & seal in the chambers which also helped in both performance & accuracy of it.
 
A gun is a gun and for me I want my cheapest to shoot as well as my most expensive... and sometimes that turns out to be the other way round... :D

ok ok you were right.

I spent a little time tuesday with a dremel and some emery cloth and opened up my chambers a little and i must say that it did make a huge difference in accuracy.

I never really put much thought into this. Afte rmore reading and why it helps it makes sence to me now.

Only took me a few hours of work and the results were well worth it.

Its one of my best shooting revolvers now.
