My wife is wanting to get a CZ 100, but although I am a proud owner of a 75 Tac, I really have not heard much about this model. Anybody had any experience with them?
I owned one. I really like the design, the size, everything, EXCEPT the trigger. It's horrendous. My favorite analogy is that it's like trying to drag a grand piano over a gravel driveway. There's also no way to improve it.
I really wish CZ would import the CZ-110, the DA/SA version of this pistol.
A couple of guys on the CZ Forum have found some minor mods that greatly improve the CZ-100 trigger. You might check that out before you do much else.
The CZ-100 is a wonderfully ergonomic gun with a crappy trigger. The trigger CAN BE improved, but without improvements, its to be avoided.
(I speak as an ex CZ-100 owner and CZ enthusiast. The guy who bought my CZ-100 from me did the tweaks mentioned above, and says it now has a great trigger. This guy knows his guns, so it might be worth investigating.)
