I need/want more than the one i have. the problem is, every time i've tried to buy, there are no ten rounders in stock, and even the cheaper of the two five round mags always costs at least $25 before shipping! does anyone know of a better source for these?

also, the polymer mag is cheaper, is it any lower quality than the metal magazine? i bought the poly one mostly for price, but also because it just seems like it'll resist accidents a little better without getting dinged up. am i right, or are they mostly identical?

contact brunoman on rimfirecentral.com I he usually has metal and poly versions of the 5/10 and single shot adapters...

I don't know if the polymer mag is lower in quality exactly, but having handled their polymer and steel mags, I'll be going with the steel. You know that brick outhouse things get built like? You could probably knock it down with one of the CZ 452 steel mags.

the only thing I dont like about my steel 5 rounder is its way hard to remove from the magwell... I use it for hunting when magchanges arent really required and the poly 10rounder or single shot adapter for the range...

:)Hey; NG VI:
For the .22lr 10 round Polymer Magazine for the CZ 452, try "Rimfire Sports & Custom" 20280 Rosedale Court, Ashburn, VA 20147-3317 (703-729-5446) . I found them on the Internet last summer. Total cost shipped was $33.95. I couldn't find a steel mag in this capacity, but I'd rather have one.

I have the older .22 rifle called the ZKM 452. The steel mags feed ammo very well, but this polymer gives me some trouble as it butts against the shell being ejected, pushing it above the stopping block that causes the ejector spring to throw the empty. In other words, the bolt won't release the spent round, and causes a jam. I've done a bit of sanding on the back edge of the magazine and it has helped to some extent.

That may not be a problem with the new CZ452's.

I got one of the metal 5 rounders to supplement the polymer 5 round mag that came with my Lux.

I have never had a problem with the polymer mag. It feeds 100%, and is in just as good of shape as it was when brand new. I don't forsee ever wearing it out.

I had to remove some metal from the front of the metal 5 rounder to get it to seat properly. I literally could not seat it with any amount of force. Then I couldn't remove it from the magwell.

Polished the front of the mag where I could see from the finish that it was making contact. Now it seats just fine but still a little tight.

It is built like a tank.

I can post pictures later if anyone is interested.

one more example of the high road helping shooters help each other find all the information they need, you guys are awesome. i think i'll enjoy shooting my cz way more now that i have a mag. had no single shot adapter before it was just fumbling each round into the chamber.
wasn't too impressed. thanks and i'll be sure to check those out, one mag is never enough for any gun. not even an integral mag.
