Shot my CZ's a bit this weekend. I was able to get MOA groups with the 452 using Remington 17 gr. Accutip-V Boat tail and almost MOA groups with the 527 using Hornady 55 gr. V-Max. The fault was surely mine, though. The 452 Varmint is scoped with Bushnell Trophy 6-18X 44 mm AO, and the 527 is scoped with Hawke Eclipse 30 4-16X 50mm Sidewheel AO, lighted reticle mil dot.

good shootin tex...i mean tec. Does that 452 take the 11mm or 13mm dovetail?

13mm (maybe 14mm?) I am using air-rife rings -- Air Force 1" medium rings, which seem to do OK with the 44mm Bushy.

switch to black hills, plain blue box, plane 55 grainers, also the plain jane remmy umc ammo is good. Lastly if you can find it, look for the giant white box, winchester 45 grain hollowpoints. prepare for 1 hole groups on that one.

As an aside; i never saw a 1/12 twist cz shoot hornies exceptionally well; I mean, they have been ok, but cz and hornies just don't seem to play together
as well as you would think.
