CZ 457 with new furniture

Here is my 457 scout with an upgrade. Lighting was very low and eventually post better pictures.

Boyds Stock. Rimfire Hunter in Maple.

I like it. The short barreled Scouts make handy rifles as they come from the factory, but if you put the metal bits in a full-size stock they fit adults a bit better and make a nice little carbine with the same quality and accuracy as the full-size CZs. Here's my 452 in an UltraLux stock.

That's one really nice things about the CZ45x rifles, the aftermarket options. That Boyd's stock looks great. I imigine getting some magazines is the next priority. I've left my Scout pretty much stock as it fills a niche application for me as-is.

I enjoy how the rifle balances. I got the scout to have a shorter barrer that will host a suppressor. More images to come in about 8 months.
