cz 527 carbine has arrived

I purchased a used 527 Carbine this past winter. I have wanted one for awhile and found the right deal. Very impressive rifle. I mounted a Leupold VX-2 2-7x33mm with the LR Duplex on Warne steel rings. The rifle is sub-MOA using Tula 123 gr FMJ and "Red Army" FMJs. For hunting, I shoot the brass cased Hornady Black 123 gr SST. Shoots .75" five shot 100 yard groups all day, with my best group being .350" for 4 shots. All from a 18.5" carbine with a net weight of about 7 lbs with scope, rings, and 5 rounds in the mag.

if my dad ets that new lathe i will make mine a switch barrel. I can get barrel blanks for $40. i like to get the american 6.5g

I have a CZ550 .375 H&H with the Continental style stock. They make some nice rifles.

Hmmm. I like the carbine. Think I'll start keeping an eye out for a deal on a 6.5 Grendel. No need whatsoever, but if the opportunity presents itself ...
