Hello:

I've seen raves for the CZ 452 in .17HM2 and .22 LR in this and other forums and was wondering if their CZ 527 in .223 performed as well.

Mine shoots just sub-MOA @100yds with Wally-World Winchester White box bargain stuff. I haven't tried "the good stuff" or reloads yet.

Mine shoots great with handloads, and OK with winchester white box, but not great. I never actually grouped them besides sighting in, but they weren't that great, like an inch or so. My gun absolutely loves 50 grain .223 bullets, and my best handload group was 5 shots, 100 yards, .33". Most groups though are under .7". I just did some 200 yard testing with it yesterday and four shots formed a .681" group, with one shot (don't know which one it was) being a flyer and taking it out to 1.35".

If you are a handloader, I can tell you exactly what works great with my .223 CZ 527 Laminate.

I've got one. got a cheap 3x9 scope on it (I think the whole setup cost me 600 bucks). shooting off a bipod, I can, without too much trouble or thinking, put 5 into less than two inches at 200 yards.
That set trigger is just sweet.
I dig mine a lot.
Best value going I think.
