CZ 550 laminate varmint .308 share

Against my better judgement I walked into my favorite local pawnshop today and was handed a rifle to examine they'd just bought, the seller was still at the counter.

I don't know what to say beyond it was love at first sight. A CZ Laminate Varmint, now a discontinued model. Single set trigger. After all the basic checks, and with two other guys waiting behind me to snap it up if I didn't take it, I pulled out the old wallet and sealed the deal.

Came home and sold my Ruger Gunsite Scout to pay for it, I sure hope it shoots as nice as it look and feels. The sad part is WA has a pawnshop 30 day hold law, I'll be counting the days until April 6.

I'll start with a Viper Vortex PST 6-24x50 FFP I already have. I have mixed feelings about that scope only because the lines are so fine I find it challenging to see them well. But I know it's a good scope, I'm going to see if I can adapt to it. I hate to sell scopes, they just aren't like guns where you can most, if not all your money back. Seems no one will pay more than half price for a used scope in my neck of the woods.
