I order a set of recoil springs for the CZ 75 compact from Midway.

Got in the mail a set of springs labeled for the CZ 75 compact. The product label also indicates that it is compatible with CZ po1.

upon installing the new spring, I discovered that there were differences between the new spring and the original factory spring, which I was not aware of prior.

I discovered that the new spring is rated for 17 lb instead of the factory spring power. I also noticed that the new spring it's a bit shorter then the original factory spring and was not of flat wire design.

I haven't had a chance to find a gun yet to test out the new spring. It seems to fit and I can manually cycle the slide with you spring.

Should I be concerned?

I have a couple of compact CZ clones, and a friend has a "real" CZ 75 compact, the springs all look different, but we've swapped them without problems. I think you're fine. You may want to contact the manufacturer if you're worried about it. If the spring is a Wolff, you shouldn't worry much.

If I remember well standard CZ 75B has a 14 lb factory spring and the Compact has a 16 lb factory spring. The P01 has a flat recoil spring.
