Yep, suffer from the same thing. That's why I have 5 CZ's with comp hammers, slicked actions, Hogue grips, fiber optic sights, tactical rear sights, Wolf springs . . . . . . . . . .
 
There are other options

You can also get a Champion hammer from CZ-USA. It has about as short of hooks as you can use and is also single action only. There isn't much margin for error though.
