I got a couple CZ-82's from AIM the other day. Overall, I'm very pleased--both of them are shooters, the recoil is stout but not terrible, and in terms of fit and finish they're quite good for a couple of 22-year-old surplus pistols (in other words, except for some finish wear, they're in great shape).
However, I have a concern with one of them--the trigger guard, which doubles as the takedown switch, is very loose. That is, it takes very little effort to pop the trigger guard into takedown position.
I know that with a magazine in the gun, the gun cannot be put into takedown mode. However, I'd like the to tighten up the engagement with the frame so that there is a strong, positive locking of the trigger guard to the frame. Any thoughts? Is this is a gunsmith job, or is it a replacement trigger guard issue?
Thanks,
