Aim now has their CZ 83 32acp's on sale now. I'm down to my last money available and was wondering if I should purchase one. I'm also thinking of a cz 82 from J&G. Which one would you get. I'm leaning to the 83 because this sale could save me like $50-$60. Thanks. AZhunter.

PS Do you know how long the sale is?

That price will save you $40.00 off what I paid for mine.

I received mine in as new condition too if that provokes you any further.:)

I'd go with the 82 as the 9x18 ammo is still generally cheaper than is .32ACP and mags for the .32 CZ83 can be hard to find. The CZ82 mags are the same as the CZ83 .380mags if you can stand a slight difference in the baseplates.

The mags hold 13 in .380 and 12 in 9x18.

I don't remember but I think I may have paid the hand pick extra charge.
Now that you bring that up, these guns may be the bottom of the barrel, last of's too.
Another distrubuter is famous for having these types of clearance sales right at the end of the listing and what comes out is mostly junky.
I think they hold the really beat up guns until the end because they know if they ship them out early the dealers will ship them right back and it kills a lot of future sales as the word gets out about the condition of these first guns shipped.
Hopefully AIM isn't doing that and it is a real sale.

At $199 :what: for the CZ 83 that's a good deal on a really fun gun. I'd go for it. I enjoy shooting my .32 CZ 83, easy to aim, good trigger, accurate, light recoil and finished better than the 82s. The 15 round mag is great, but hard to load the last few. Mine like S&B ammo.

Did you get yours from AIM? I heard that they might be scraping the bottom or the barrel on the 83s in another post because the guy wasn't satisfied.

If that question was directed to me, the answer is no. I bought mine new from a local shop for $340 about two years ago. When you order from AIM, ask how many they have and what condition they're in. Usually they are upfront and accurate. I did buy a CZ82 from SOG that was a huge disappointment. Some did well in the luck of the draw, some didn't.

The price is good. Just be aware these are used, and not pampered, babied guns from your uncle's safe. Also be aware that .32 magazines are hard to find...not impossible, but hard. I have four of them so they are out there.
