i had made a video of my first range outing with my 97b that showed the malfunctions from the bullet getting jammed into the lands

the good folks on this forum clued me into the diagnosis. i made a ff up video on how the issue was resolved by seating the bullet deeper and how i will plunk test moving forward. i will load 230 rn MBC at 1.255 for this gun and likely for my other 45s as well.

it doesn't seem to have much of a problem with my 200 gr swc with my vvn320 load but i did have a stove pipe from another outing with a 4.5 gr load of bullseye with the 97b
.

Good Video. I am think of buying a CZ 97b and loading a 200 gr Lymam lswc bevel base bullet. The short chamber/ leade should be good for cast lead.

Finding the gun may be the biggest problem.

thanks, i haven't taken out the gun again since that video. covid 19 etc... yes, it didn't have a problem with the 200 gr swcs.

i haven't loaded a batch of the 230gr bullets at 1.255 yet as i still have a lot of them loaded that is too long for this gun.

late last year the gun was often available online.
