Here's the deal....I plan to buy a .223. I already have a Rem 700 target barreled .223, which is terrific prairie dog gun, but too heavy to carry afield. I'm hungry for another 223. The new one needs to be lighter than the target model...I like around 6-7 lbs, but don't care for the ultralight 5 pounders. The CZ Lux model .223 appeals to me as does the Tikka Hunter. Here are questions for you CZ owners out there. I have never bought a CZ because I don't like the way the magazine protrudes. Otherwise, I really like the LUX look and I've always wanted a CZ; just thought it would be a rimfire. OK...do you find that the magazine is ever in the way? Like when zeroing off a bag? For Tikka fans, I've heard lots of good things, not much about the .223. I like the look of them, but they are more expensive than a CZ. Comments about the accuracy and quality of both, especially compared to other brands is welcome. Thanks everyone. I know I''ll get thoughtful responses.
