CZ P-01 or CZ Compact for IDPA

I am getting one or other and also thinking of trying out IDPA to improve myself. I am not a huge fan of first shot DA and decockers, but the light weight frame of the P01 would aid in actual carry. For the Compact, I would think that for IDPA, that first shot DA followed by all single action plus the heavier pistol might be the way to go. Could still carry it as well.

Not knowing, when moving from stage to stage must you safety your pistol? Decock?

If anyone uses either I would appreciate your thoughts.
 
Get the one you like the most.

No, you do NOT have to decock while moving from one position to another (not 'stage to stage'), but you must keep your trigger outside the triggerguard. (not just off the trigger, bout OUTSIDE the triggerguard)
