For some reason, I've been wanting a P-10C, and finally stumbled upon one. So far I like it fine, it's not blowing my skirt up, but it's OK. I put maybe 90 rounds through it, and it shoots a little to the left. I thought it was just me at first, I do tend to shoot left when I'm rusty, but my nephew who shoots left handed was shooting to the left too. I haven't tried any of the backstraps aside from the small that was on it when I got it. Anybody else run one of these? What's your opinion?
Fondled one at the gun shop a couple weeks ago. Trigger was nice and felt very comfortable in the hand... but couldn't see enough advantages over what I'm carrying to pull out my credit card.
The Czechs make great beer and guns. If only they didn’t charge for ketchup. It’s like holding your fries hostage until you say you will pay for it.
I have Glock, my brother has P10’s (full and compact) From memory, they’re more alike than not in terms of performance. At least as I recall.
i like the way it fits my hand . surprisingly the p10f does not feel the same. my p10c after a few range sessions had the set screw back out. it was easy to recenter it with my fingers before retightening the screw . i then checked the sights and then blue loctited once home. so it is easy to adjjst the sights which i think is a plus. just loctite it once well centered. one coiled pin keeps pushing out every few range sessions.
I love my P-10C, been my EDC for 5 years now. I also have the P-10S for a BUG, my son carries a P-10S, my girl has a P-10M, and I enjoy shooting the P-10F CR, which IS a huge pistol grip, BTW But yeah, I never wanted a striker fired sidearm until I tried the P-10C and I was sold.
I got a p-10c recently in trade and really like it. Im running the medium backstrap and it fits my hand nicely. The triggers no where near as nice as my Canik, but better than any of the other strikers ive fired. Dont know about accuracy as ive just been out plinking with it over the week end, but so far it seems to shoot where im looking which is nice. I wanna get a full size slide to put on it, but so far i havent been able to find one that wont break the bank.
I like the idea of a P10C, but I don't think I've handled one yet. If I were to get one, though, it would probably just be a range gun for me, not a CC pistol.
what is that at the tip, added weight for shooting like in competition 1911s? does it go on by dovetail. would buying a p10f and sticking the full length slide on the p10c be cheaper?
The P10 is very much "Glock like", and you really see that the first time you strip it. Mine came set up as a suppressor host, and there was trouble there, as it didnt like to cycle with the suppressor on the gun. It was a single shot for the first couple of hundred rounds and although it was getting better, it still wasnt 100%. Shot great without the suppressor on the gun. My only other complaint was the trigger. It wasnt "bad", but it was kind of weird and mushy.
I like CZs but the original P-10 didn't seem to me to have anything that distinguished it from a raft of poly striker pistols. Maybe some of the newer versions will impress.
Compensator . I bought the suppressor ready P10C so it came with the threaded barrel . The compensator I made .
Thank you . I made the compensator and milled the slide for the red dot and the dovetail for the rear sight myself . Fun stuff .
P-10C Competition Ready. I don't have a dot so the same sights sit on it. 5 inch tube with 19 round mag. The grip is quite large, but still fun to shoot. My son likes shooting it at 50 yards. I think it will be even better with a RDS, when I can afford one.
I bought one to just see how well I liked a CZ striker fired pistol. Turns out I it shoot very well and like the feel and weight. It is now in my carry rotation.
