Only difference I see is ...

P01 has rail

PCR has "snag free" rear sight

PCR list for ~ $30 less.

Is that it, or is there something else I'm missing? (springs, etc...)

Can these CZ's with the frame mounted decocker be carried cocked and locked? (I've never fired a DA/SA pistol, not quite sure why some can't and some can).

Please enlighten me.

Have both, like both. As you say, the biggest differance is the light rail. Also, the PO1 has slightly differant metallurgy, and was NATO accepted. I find both to be equally usefull, and the best handguns I see available today.

Note, the decocker models cannot be carried cocked and locked. For that you will need a CZ-75 Compact, available in 9mm or 40S&W.

Theoretically the forged frame of the P-01 should be stronger than the PCR's cast frame, but I guess the PCR's frame is still plenty strong enough. As a long time moderator at CZForum I've never heard of a single frame failure with either pistol.

FWIW, I am not an accessory user so I prefer the PCR's sleeker muzzle for concealed carry.

both are fantastic guns. The PCR would be the better carry choice if you don't need attachments on the front of your gun. I have a P-01, which I'll never sell, but I don't need the accessory rail. Plus I like the back sights better on the PCR
both would be extremely durable
