Stopped in my local Funshop after a bit of overtime today, and as I was perusing the shotguns, a pretty little Czech thing caught my eye.

Preowned CZ P06. They had it for $500, I talked them down to $480. Good deal? This thing may be preowned, but if the tag didn't say it, I would have thought it was new. Literally 100% with factory wood grips.

I haven't purchased it yet, I didn't have the cash on me. I told him I'd be back on Thursday to grab it if it hadn't sold yet.

As soon as I got home I tried to look it up in my gun values book (from 2009 or 2010, don't remember). It wasn't in there, but the P-01 (which I have) and the 75D compact are in there. Asking price for NIB was approx $530 or so.

Hopefully it's still there on Thursday, my 3 other CZ's are getting lonely. What they say is 100% true, once you buy one, they multiply like rabbits.

I'd say that's a fair deal. I haven't ever seen one in person, but expect it is just like the 9mm brother, the P01, but a little more expensive. For comparison, I'd say thta $450 is a fair deal for a near new P01. Anything under is a good deal, and anything over is getting to be too much for used.

If you like the .40 cal, then I'd say the P06 is near the top of the food chain.

An NIB P-06 for $575-600 is a real good price...
If yours is in LNIB shape, $480 is a very good price!!
Go for it... a great gun.

Thats about what I was thinking. I paid $560 OTD about 4 years ago for my
P-01.

I'm not a big fan of the .40 round, but I am a huge fan of CZ. I did want a .40 for the sake of having it, but I was leaning toward a Taurus PT100 or so, but now that thought is out of my head.

Fingers crossed it's still there when I get back there.
