CZ P07 Duty 9mm , CZ quality? Any issues?

IIRC early ones had problems with the magazine; it would not allow the mag to frop free easily. I think recent ones have been improved.
I have a 9mm. and it has never done anything to make me think it is unreliable or inaccurate.
They're sort of ugly (especially the trigger guard) but the grip IMHO is the best ergonomically of all the semis I own.

The first generation had some issues with mag drop, and some people thought a bulge in the poly frame was bad, although it had no affect on the pistol. Mine worked perfectly, very accurate and reliable. Now the newest generation is supposed to be outstanding in all regards, but I haven't handled one personally. I will say mine was NOT an Arizona CCW gun - the super aggressive checkering, meant to let you keep a grip in rain, oil and snow, was not to kind to my fat gut in AZ heat under a t-shirt. With a garment underneath it would be an excellent CCW pistol as well.

The one I had (Gave it to my Bro-in-Law that Coveted it) was the only pistol I've ever fired that was like an extension of my hand. Excellent trigger.

I bought a PCR to replace it and I love the PCR for CCW but the trigger is nowhere near as good.

Yeah, the out of the box Omega trigger on the P-07 is outstanding. However, my PCR has a very nice, and light stock trigger.

You can get the PCR trigger worked on if it is bothering you. The CZ custom shop and others do nice work on the triggers.

I had one of the first gen P-07 pistols. I really liked the look of it and it felt good in the hand, until I shot it. Once I shot it I realized that it seemed to be top heavy. Plus, I just couldn't warm up to the polymer frame. Also, for a polymer pistol, it is awfully heavy, heavier than the 2075 Rami. It just didn't suit me.

I owned one for a short while. I thought the ergos were pretty nice, and it shot well enough, but wasn't without issues.

Firstly, the white part of the front sight peeled off about the third time I holstered it. Not the biggest deal in the world, but definitely poor QC.

Also, the rear sight was way (WAY) too sharp. I checked my hip a few different times, convinced it must have drawn blood. How hard would it have been to design the rear sight with a slightly rounded edge?

Those minor issues, combined with the utter lack of a holster or accessory market, convinced me to sell it and buy a G19. No regrets.

Re: sharp sights... I had the same problem with a SIG P-210-6. I took it to a couple of IDPA matches and ended up BLEEDING after a couple of courses of fire. (My hands, from releasing the slide; the slide release was VERY tight.)

A lot of guns have sights that need to have the dots repainted, replaced, etc. That's what Testor's Flourescent Model Paint is for...
