If we win politically, maybe CZ will consider a semi auto version of both for import to the US. While political firearms futures are uncertain, and with haveing to design a totally semi-auto only reciever for the firearms in question, I doubt they will be arriving any time soon...dagnabbit.

i beleive these were prototypes before the s805 the lada 2000, but i see a sbr cz805 below, always nice to dream though

So much crap on the gun in the first pic they had to put the front site on backwards!

Gotta get me one of those helmets, I'd totally be able to maintain order at the mall in that thing.

the last (and about five years old) version of the ČZ 805 aka ČZ-2000 Lada

www.wikipedia.org said:
The ČZ 2000 is a prototype 5.56 mm caliber Czech weapon system, consisting of a standard rifle, carbine and light machine gun. The system was developed in 1991 after adapting the LADA firearm prototype (chambered for the 5.45x39mm M74 cartridge to the standard NATO 5.56x45mm round with the SS109 bullet.[1] J. Denel from the Brno-based Prototypa-ZM company is the chief designer for both systems.[1] The ČZ 2000 (short for Česká Zbrojovka, and the number 2000 signifies that this is a weapon system of the year 2000) was to be produced by Česká Zbrojovka of Uherský Brod. It was to be the new service weapon of the Czech Army, replacing: the 7.62 mm vz. 58 assault rifle, 7.65 mm vz. 61 Škorpion submachine gun and 7.62 mm vz. 59 machine gun. As of 2007, the project has been discontinued.

More pics of something we can't buy, yaus! :banghead:

yes, there is a plan for ČZ S805 semi-auto version for European and US market, price supposedly about 30 - 40 000 Czech Crowns...

First, I would hope you're serious, would be a way for the factory to recoup some costs if this project was in fact canned, and two, I seem to be all out of Czech Crowns...will have to ask CZ what they know about this project.

30,000-40,000 Czech crowns, according to google, equals about $1500-2000. So, comparable pricing with other rifles like the MSAR STG-556, FS2000, etc.

Acording to the news, Czech army will buy first rifles next year, but there are still no details about tender and other potencial competitors (since CZ Stkakonice makes AR-15). Nevertheless i expect czub to win.
It seem even oposition leaders like CZ S805:eek:) http://www.cityshark.cz/paroub/3.jpg

Avenger29: Price is still unknown, but keep in mind that guns are generaly much more expensive here than in USA. (CZ75 SP-01 - 20 000Kč, HK 416 76 000Kč, CZ 858 - 5900Kč ) wonder why...

Oh man, Bohemus...you really must get somebody to post that pic inside of this thread, so that we can put captions on it. :D

The guy on the left is like, "HEH HEH heh heh heh...," and the guy on the right is like, "OOOOO la la!"

today minister of defense has announced that new assault rifle for Czech Army competition wins the ČZ S805 BREN (official name)
ČZ S805 producing will start this year...

I hope they start sending a lot of vz 58's on over to the US :D Of course they have to be butchered up and re-configured.
